The Castelluccio mushroom farm is located in the municipality of Senise, in the Basilicata Italian region,
within the borders of the Pollino’s national reserve.
The farm works in the territory since more than 30 years in the production of quality mushrooms,
including the production of substrates of Pleurotus eryngii and other minor strains.
It was the first business of it’s kind to start the production of this particularly esteemed strain,
well known and appreciated, especially in the south of the country.
The business had and currently have different joint projects with many Italian research institutes.
