Strain details:
The pelurotus ostreatus, well known in Italy with different names (Gelone, Orecchione ecc.) it's the second mushroom (in terms of economic relevance) most cultivated in the country. It's much appreciated for it's unmistakable aroma and high yield.
Cultivation:
Cut away the superior part of the bag and proceed with mild water subministration, repeated most times per day, depending on external climatic conditions. In order to obtain better wisps, covering the substrate with 1cm of soil is recommended.
